Richard Scheuerman Elected President of the Glenview Concert Band

The Glenview Concert Band recently held elections and are announcing the new Board. Richard (“Rich”) Scheuerman , a retired food company CEO and clarinet player in the band, was elected President. Rich has been a member of the band since 2017 and most recently served as Treasurer of the Band.

“I am excited to lead the Board as the Band begins its 41^st season,” said Rich. “The Band is playing well, we had all-time high participation to celebrate our 40^th anniversary, and we have the momentum to continue our success.”

Joining Rich on the Board are: Mary Baker (Vice President and clarinet player); Kelly Eidson (Secretary and clarinet player), Samong Kim (Treasurer and clarinet player); and members at large Melissa Read (french horn), Larry Sommers (clarinet), and Justin Askenazy (percussion). Band Director Greg Wojcik is an ex officio member of the Board.
